Welcome to the GIU blog hop! You should have arrived here from Iona's blog. If you're just now joining us you'll want to start at Amanda's blog so you don't miss a thing :-)
It's July so I've decided to go ahead and work on some more Christmas projects. I recently saw a video where someone made a tag out of cardboard. I loved the look of it so I used some cardboard from a box. I cut it into a really big tag shape. I ripped off some of the top layer to expose the corrugated parts underneath. I applied some Gesso and used some Dylusions ink spray. Then layered up some patterned papers and a stamped image that I colored with pencils. I distressed the edges around the image and then inked them. I went around the edges of the tag with some Stickles for some sparkle. And I painted some of the edges of the patterned papers with white paint. I added a token that I colored with Distress crayons and some white paint. Love how this came out. I was just playing, not sure where it was going and I ended up loving it!!
Recipe:
