Winter Wonderland - Non-traditional Christmas Colors

Hello there!  Another great Christmas challenge is starting up over on the Winter Wonderland blog today.  Our theme is Non-traditional Christmas colors.  (so basically anything except red and green).  Our sponsor is Crafts & Me.  Lots of great images to drool over for sure...LOL!

I chose a vintage photo.  My mom and her older sister had a black and white portrait done next to a Christmas tree that had actual candles on it.  So, of course this one spoke to me :-)  Love it!  I don't usually do too many Vintage looking projects but this was fun!

Recipe:
Crafts & Me - A Christmas Wish
Prima - En Francais stack - all papers
Tim Holtz Distress ink - Vintage photo - all edges (and the lace trim)
Tim Holtz distress tool
Webster's Pages - Color Spring Market - lace trim
TPC Studio - Christmas Greetings stamp set
Winter Wonderland Cricut cart - tree @ 2 1/2"
tiny, silver bling on the candles on the tree

I cut the tags/tickets from the paper pad.  Too fun!

Thanks for stopping by today.  Come play along with us at Winter Wonderland :-)

  3. I love vintage cards and this one is so appealing. Great marriage between non traditional colours and a very traditional image. Beautiful.
