Hello! Teacher's do rock! My daughter is in Kinder this year and I can't believe how much she has learned. She's starting to read--so EXCITING!!! Anyway, this challenge is all about making something for a teacher using primary colors and chalk.
This pic shows the blue chalk I used on the edges of this note pad.
Front cover. Her teacher's name just happened to start with 'A'. Cool, huh?!
Inside cover. I used the seeing spots CB folder for some fun texture.
This pic isn't very good. It's the back inside cover. I covered the back in blue to match the front.
Recipe:
DCWV - Grade School Stack - patterned paper
Elegant Edges Cricut cart - Circles @ 4 1/2" - using the book feature (remember to use the flip feature to cut the back cover and for the papers to cover the back of your covers), Circles @ 3" -using the frame and shadow features
Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cart - 'A' @ 2 1/4" (I cut this out of chipboard, too)
CB folder - Seeing spots, swiss dot
Cinch 1" binding wire, used 4 1/4" x 4" white computer paper for the inside pages of the note pad
Chipboard - I used cereal boxes, settings: Deep blade @6, speed low, pressure max, muli-cut @3
Christmas red Stickles, Ek Success blue chalk for edges, Ribbons: white organza and white satin are Ribbon Boutique, Grosgrain yellow and red ribbons are Celebrate It (M's)
Thanks for stopping by today! Good luck to all in this challenge!
