Growing in Unity - Day 5

Hello again!  It's my last day of being a Growing in Unity Gal.  It's been so much fun!  Thanks Unity Stamp  Co for the opportunity!!  And thank you all for the beautiful comments this week.  I have a girly, floral card to share with you today.

I'm using the Unity Stamp Co stamp kit called  Girl Truly.  This floral stamp is huge (my card is 5 x 5 square) and so pretty!

I've heat embossed the image on watercolor paper.  I then watercolored it with Distress Oxide inks and then spritzed it with water to get the fun effects.  I fussy cut the blooms out and then layered it over the stamped image on my background panel.  I added some splatters and sequins to finish it off.

I'm using the Unity Stamp Co stamp kit called Forrest Guy.   Love this masculine stamp set.

Growing in Unity - Day 2

Hello again!  I'm so excited to be a part of Growing in Unity this week.  Welcome to day 2.  I have a girly, vintage card to share with you today.

I'm using the Unity Stamp Co SMAK kit from 11/17.  Isn't this camera image amazing??  I love it!

I used my Misti to stamp the camera on pink cardstock.  I then went over it with Distress ink in Vintage photo to make it blend in with the rest of my card.  I then fussy cut it out.  I stamped the image on floral paper and then layered the fussy cut pink camera over it using foam squares.  I also added some Vintage Photo ink on the pink ribbon to make it look old...lol!

MIU #14: June - Smooshing

Hello again.  It's June first -- Happy Birthday to my first born :-)  It's also time for another wonderful challenge over on the Mix it Up blog.  Our challenge this month is Anything Goes (optional twist of Smooshing).

I applied the ink directly to my craft mat and then sprayed it with water.  Then I took a plastic baggie and smooshed it into the ink and applied it randomly to my watercolor cardstock.  Then I watercolored with the leftover ink to color the image.

Tim Holtz Distress Oxides - twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers
colored pencils
water brush
