Hello!  I used this sketch challenge to help me make a sympathy card.  My niece's husband's father passed away on Sat. after a long battle with cancer.   I always struggle with this type of card so I thought this sketch would help me out and it did.

First Communion card

Hello!  My nephew, Gabriel is receiving his first Holy Communion in May.  So, I created this card for his special day.  I used a frosted vellum for the dove.
Recipe:
4 1/4" square card in Kraft

French Manor Cricut cart - flybird@2 3/4"

CB folder - Victoria & Welcome Baby (for the die cut sentiment 'blessing')

Frosted vellum (med speed, med pressure, blade @6), pop dots, black bling.

I used a Scotch wrinkle free glue stick to glue the vellum bird shape to a white bird shape.  Then I could use my pop dots without them showing through the bird.  I tucked the olive branch between the two layers of his beak.  I used my Xyron machine to adhere the sentiment.
