CC Magazine Challenge: Letter Envy

Hello!  This challenge is all about using the latest Cricut Circle exclusive cart, Letter Envy.  I decided it was time to create some home decor.  I recently got a small console table for our front entryway.  And I've been wanting some artwork with our inital on it.  So this is what I came up with...  The pics don't really do it justice--this Shimmer paper is sooo pretty in person.  Enjoy!

Letter Envy Cricut cart - M @ 8"
Elegant Edges Cricut cart - bunny @ 11" (using fit to page) (frame feature)
Teresa Collins Sophisticated Cricut cart - flower 1 @ 2", 1 3/4"

Pop dots, lace is American Crafts in brown sugar, Glossy Accents to adhere the flowers, Scotch wrinkle free glue stick to adhere the lace.

Mini Journal

I got an exciting toy in the mail this week--the Cinch2.  I've had my eye on this little tool for a while and finally found a really good deal at Consumer Crafts and I went for it.  So, this is my first project with it.  It was really very easy to use. 

This is the front cover of the jrnl.  I used the cutout of the butterfly as a charm and tied it on the end of the ribbon.  This could be used as a bookmark.

Recipe:
DCWV - Lace & Linen Stack - all patterned papers
I used copy paper for the journal pages inside the book cut to 6 x 5 1/2"

Elegant Edges Cricut cart - butterfly1 @ 6" (using the book feature)- I cut the inside cover paper using the flip feature
Letter Envy Cricut cart - 'V' @ 3 1/2"  (used med speed on this one)

I used a Cheez-It box for my covers and then just cut papers to go over them.  Brown ink for the edges, Crystal Stickles on the butterfly charm, pop dots on the V, white Cinch wire @1",  pink grosgrain ribbon & brown organza ribbon by Ribbon Boutique.

Setting for cutting Cheez-It cardboard - deep cut blade @6 -pressure max, speed @ low, multi cut @3.

4 1/2" square card

Letter Envy Cricut cart - crest [C] @ 4" (grey, yellow vellum, yellow), crest layer @4" (to create the black shadow effect), phrase - Hello @ 1 1/2"

Cuttlebug embossing folder - Textile Texture

Sew Easy Fancy Floss in slate, pop dots, Crystal Stickles.

Cricut Circlet Weekly Color Challenge 2/20

Letter Envy Cricut cart - crest [Q] @ 4", crest layer @ 1 1/2" Real Dial on (I just used one of these as the background shape of the sentiment 'hi'), H & i @ 1" using font feature

Cuttlebug embossing folder - swiss dot

Oriental Trading Co- green felt ribbon, The Paper Studio - pink woven ribbon, pink gems, Glossy Accents to attach green felt & pink ribbon.
