This is the card I created for my mom. I love how it turned out!!
Recipe:5" square Kraft card base.
My Mind's Eye - Simply Delightful stack - patterned papers
MS Seasonal Cake Art Cricut cart- heart doily cut @4 1/4"
MS All Ocassion Cake Cricut cart- butterflies @3/4", flower2 @1 3/4", 1 1/2", 1 1/4", 3/4"
Plantin Schoolbook - mom @1 1/4"
Brown ink, pink pearl bling by Recollections, pink brad from Oriental Trading Co, lace trim from HL, Tsukineko Sheer Shimmer spray in Sparkle, pop dots for dimension.
I cut 3 layers of the letters in Kraft and glued them together to form chipboard. The final top layer I cut in the patterned polka dot paper. I'm sure I remember seeing this technique on the Cricut Circle blog on one of the DT's amazing projects--so thank you for this great idea.
I have one more project for you :-)
Recipe:
A2 size card base in Kraft.
My Mind's Eye - Simply Delightful stack
Cake Basics Cricut cart- frame2 @4" using the fit-to-length feature
Nursery Rhyme Cricut cart - M @ 1 1/4", om @ 1"
MS photo corner punch, Diamond Stickles on 'mom'.
I used the same technique as described above to create a chipboard look for the frame and the letter 'M'.
Thanks for hopping along with us. Remember, if you leave a comment on every designers blog hop post, your name will go into the drawing for the Blog Candy that our THANK MOM BLOG HOP hostess, Debbie is offering as a Grand Prize.
