Growing in Unity - Day 1

Hello there!  I'm so excited to be a part of Growing in Unity this week.  Welcome to day 1.  I have a manly birthday card to share with you today.

I'm using the Unity Stamp Co stamp kits called Slowly Turning Classic and Let AdventureI've used Distress and Distress Oxide inks to create the background and to color the stamped image.  Adding water creates the fun effects.

Recipe:
Ranger black Pigment Ink
Zing clear embossing powder
The Paper Studio - Embossing Heat tool
Ranger heat tool
Strathmore watercolor paper
Tim Holtz - Distress ink - Rusty Hinge, Stormy Sky  / Distress Oxide - Candied Apple
Tim Holtz - round blending tool
water brush
Misti
foam squares

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Please follow me if you've been inspired.  And don't forget to comment for a chance to win a grab bag of 25 stamps from Unity :-)  I will be picking two lucky winners!!

See you tomorrow for Day 2.

Hugs,
Cindy
