Tall Vintage Journal

Hello there!  I've got a really cool journal to share today.  I was completely inspired by Creative Café Girl's utube project

So much fun!  I used manilla file folders for the pages since I didn't have any time cards.  I sewed the binding fabric to each side of the pages.  I've never done anything like this before.  I loved doing the collage on each page!

I'm entering this journal into the June challenge over on Mini Album Maker's Challenge.

Front cover.

pages 1-2

pages 3-4

pages 5-6

This is the journal opened all the way out.

This is the back of the journal (and the front cover again).  I used two Tim Holtz stencils and Distress Oxide in Worn Lipstick to jazz the pages up.  They can still be used for journaling.

Recipe:
File Folder - cut to 2 1/2" x 7"  (6 pages)
Distress Ink - Tattered rose, Distress Oxide  - Vintage Photo, Worn Lipstick
Tim Holtz - mini Scribbles stencil, floral
fabric scraps
Singer sewing machine - Zig zag stitch
Prima - Cherry Blossom papers
Tim Holtz -ephemera, paper dolls
