Scrapbook Blessings Club - First Monthly Card Kit Release!!

New Years Journal

Hello and Happy New Year!  I hope you all had a fabulous night last night!  We stayed in and ate and ate and watched the countdown on tv.  My two kiddos stayed up just past midnight.  I didn't think they would make it...LOL!!  Okay, on to my project.  I've used a K&Company Designer pad and turned it into a journal. 
The pages have botanicals with graph or ledger styles so I thought it would be perfect for journaling.

Recipe:

Little boy Goodie Bag

Hey there!  I've got a goodie bag to share today.  I've made this for my son's soon-to-be sixth birthday party.  We are celebrating at Home Depot.  They are making wooden helicopters :-)  I've also got the post today on the Scrapbook Blessings Club blog.

Close-up of the burlap, brads, and word 'party'.  I used the When I Was a Kid cart for the letters p, a, r and y @ 1".  I used Boys Will Be Boys cart for the hammer which is the 't' in party @ 1".  I welded all of these items in the Cricut Craft Room.

June MCCR 100 Cart Blog Hop

Okay, I have two projects today.  I've made a t-shirt decorated with heat vinyl:
Sorry for the glare on the plastic!  I used Plantin Schoolbook for the 'M's @3" and Soccer cart for the trophy @ 5".  You can faintly see I trimmed off the bottom part of the trophy with a craft knife-- so I just had the soccer ball left.

My second project is a mini album of my daughter's first year of soccer. 
I used The Paper Studio -Chevrons (single sheets) and Uptown Flair stack for all papers.  When I Was a Kid cart for the poloroid frame @ 4", heart @ 2".  The First Few Years cart for the arrow @ 1".  Boys Will Be Boys cart for my daughter's name @ 1".  Elegant Edges cart for the pages of the book: burst@6", eyelt2@6", flrsh2@ 6", swirl1 @6" using the book feature.  I cut the pages using cardboard from cereal boxes and my deep cutting blade @ 6, max pressure, low speed, multi @2.  Remember to flip your image when cutting your paper for the back of the pages.
