CC Nov Monthly Challenge: Signs of Fall w/Texture
This project must include signs/symbols of Fall using 2 Cricut cuts and some texture. I added texture by embossing; doodling on the acorn; popping up the top 2 layers; and also doodling, popping up, and curling the leaves. I really like how this card came out :-)
Recipe:
A2 card in Kraft
DCWV - Amber Autumn stack - patterned papers
Elegant Edges Cricut cart - Swirl2 -oblong @ 4", 4 1/2", 5"
Doodlecharms Cricut cart - leaves @1", acorn@ 1"
Cuttlebug folder - swiss dot (debossed ivory layer)
Sentiment stamp is Inkadinkado, Jillibean Soup twine in beanstalks, pop dots, brown Zig pen for doodles on leaves, acorn and around orange layer.
Thanks for looking! Good luck to all in this challenge!

The CB Spot Challenge: Anything Goes
This was a fun and very different type of card for me. I used very simple design with great texture and fun embellishments. In fact my Cricut had to sit this one out...LOL!
Recipe:
A2 cardbase in Kraft
DCWV - The Christmas Combo Stack - all patterned papers
Cuttlebug folder - musical flourish
9mm jingle bells, Tinsel trim by Oriental Trading Co, Sew Easy baker's twine in candy stripe & wintergreen.
The Jingle bells repeating sentiment is just a patterned paper strip :-) Talk about easy!!
Thanks for stopping by. Good luck to all in this challenge. If you'd like to play along visit http://thecuttlebugspot.blogspot.com/. It looks like they are starting up again after a bit of a break. Too fun--I love my CB, too!

I chose to do a Christmas card using a great stamp of the Holy Family!
Recipe:
DCWV - Winter Wonder stack - striped paper
DCWV - Christmas Combo stack - printed paper
Elegant Edges Cricut cart - Design 1 -oblong @4 1/2", border @ 1/2"
Stamp by Stampendous, colored pencils, pop dots, diamond Stickles, silver bling, white organza ribbon by RibbonFX.
I couldn't find a stamp in my stash for the sentiment so I just hand wrote it on the border :-)

CC Weekly Challenge #43: Feeling Gifty
I don't know about you but my kids are sure counting down the days until Halloween. It's so fun this time of year! So, I created little treat bags for my daughter's Kinder class and my son's preschool class. Since I had a total of 35 to make I kept the crafty side of it rather simple. At this age, I figure it's all about the loot inside! LOL! So, this one is easy peasy!
Recipe:
Cloud 9 Seasonal stack - all patterned papers
Treat toppers are 4 1/4 x 5"
treat bags are 4 x 6 (they were a bit long so I folded them over before stapling on the topper)
Doodlecharms Cricut cart - spider @2", pumpkin @2"
Pop dots, MS Drippy Goo punch.
Bags are filled with Halloween finger puppets and tattoos from Oriental trading co, small containers of Play-doh, and of course CANDY! :-)
Thanks for stopping by today! Good luck to all in this challenge!

CC October Monthly Challenge: Halloween Home Decor
For my home decor project I used a little black tree I got on clearance at one of the crafty stores at the end of the Halloween season last year. So, I couldn't wait to get started on this one :-)
I used ribbons to dress up my little black tree.
I used the Happy Hauntings Cricut cart for all my cuts:
witch @2 1/2"
witch's hat @ 2 1/2"
frankenstein @ 3 1/2"
mummy @ 3 1/2"
cat @ 3"
boot @ 3"
cauldron @ 3"
Ribbons by Ribbon Boutique (HL), Diamond & Lavendar Stickles, MS black glitter glue, red bling, pop dots, My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Life of the Party "Be You" twine, sew easy twine in lilac.
Another couple pics of it all together. It was a little tricky to photograph :-) (sorry, my pics aren't the best)
